Tribute Windows
When St. Mary's Church in Lake Leelanau, MI completed an entrance addition, Father Jerry Hunko had a vision that would translate into a beautiful tribute to his mother Marie. The new addition allowed St. Mary's to relocate some existing stained glass windows and provided added space for new decorative panels. After carefully evaluating the existing glass, these windows were created to support original glass designs already present. As a tribute, the top-most window incorporates the name of Marie in decorative hand-painted painted typography.
