Trinity Memorial Windows
Built in the early 1950's, Trinity Lutheran Church located in Crookston,
MN houses an enormous amount of original hand-painted stained glass panels,
created by Gaytee Stained Glass in Minneapolis, MN. The illustration
below depicts three new 12' x 2½' windows created to memorialize Marsha Schultz,
a respected member and employee of Trinity Lutheran Church - and to celebrate
her unwavering foundation of faith and prayer.
The existing windows at Trinity are a gothic Grisaille
style with hand-painted foliage patterns overall. The newly designed memorial
windows will also be hand-painted and are reminiscent of the original
windows while still being unique to themselves.
The first of three windows was installed June 18, 2006 and is pictured on the right.
