Celtic Knot Window
Celtic art has been described as a combination of magic, invention and
imagination, with a bit of logic, mathematics and geometry mixed in. There
are many symbols found in Celtic mythology that appear often enough as
to suggest they were fairly widespread in Celtic thought. This finely
crafted window mimics the historical richness of the traditional Celtic
designs and symbolism that has inspired new ideas and adaptations for
countless years.
Geometric Window
Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s late designs, this geometric light screen
uses strong borders and line work to display simple, ordered beauty. An
understated, cool color palette is reflective of the calming effects of
viewing glass without complexity.
Lancet Window
Both the quarry and grisaille (pronounced grî-zě´) styles were the inspiration
for the design of this lancet window. Quarry windows, with their intricate
diamond shaped divisions, were popular in England during the 15th century.
A grisaille window uses delicate floral or geometric patterns painted
in dark oxides over transparent or translucent glass to subdue light.
This custom glass window hanging is a beautiful combination of the two
styles - including a diamond Quarry pattern and Flemish glass that holds
the light much like a grisaille window.
Wind & Wheat Window
Frank Lloyd Wright’s Prairie Style inspired this wind and wheat glass
design. This elegantly elongated glass piece embellishes and reinforces
the strong rectilinear lines and organic nature of Wright’s famous architectural
style.
